Ceramic fiber paper is produced from aluminum silicate fibers and selected binders that burn on ignition. Ceramic fiberboards show good tear resistance, are flexible and resistant to heat shock.
This lightweight insulating paper is ideal for use at elevated temperatures up to 1260 ° C. It is excellent for handling and its flexibility allows it to be used for pipe wrapping as well as for complex compressed shapes and seals. It can be cut using a knife or conventional cutting tools.
